In the middle of last month’s blizzard Peach had twin boys! They are doing great. The boys were born at nearly 7 pounds and they were over 10 in a week!
These are full size goats. Mom is Alpine and Oberhasli mix. Dad is a three breed mix of Lamancha, Alpine, and 25% Kiko. These will not be small bucks.
The first week of February they went to the vet for CDT vaccines and horn removal. I am not planning on wethering them before adoption. But they can still be safely neutered after 8 weeks, if desired.
I’ll post photos regularly. Note that one of the bucks has the Lamancha “elf” ears. The sweaters were on for their first 2 days, when temps were below zero.
If interested, you are welcome to come to our farm to pick them up. Or I can bring them to you (if you are nearby). Or we can meet halfway.
Please let me know what questions you have.
There has been interest in these boys, but they are available if this post is up!
