I HAVE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE LISTED - EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL, BUT MORE COMPLETE AND IN SLIGHTLY BETTER SHAPE. Late-model 42" Craftman 2-stage snowblower, model #486.248371. Good condition, 85% complete. Missing the mounting brackets, an idler pulley and a spring, but they're still all available from Sears PartsDirect, or you can fab up your own. The manual says that this fits newer Craftsman mowers whose serial # starts with 247, the newer MTD-built Craftsman models, but this was installed on much more common early-2000s 917 model. With a little creativity and some fab work, this could probably be fitted to a lot of tractors, easpecially AYP- built Craftsmans, Husqvarnas, etc. I have another one of the same model in a little nicer shape and mostly complete for 199 bucks, also a few other plow blades and blowers. 42" 2-stage blowers like this are selling new for 2 to 3 thousands bucks, so this is a pretty sweet deal.
