Shade Mountain "Kickin-Ass" glass over slate turkey call made in 2003 by Ernie Fetters Lewistown PA, former owner of Shade Mountain Calls. Walnut 'pot' with glass over slate. The glass side is used to produce "yelps" and "light purrs". The slate side is used to produce "clucks", "cuts", "purrs" and "tree yelps". The call is in nearly new condition and includes "striker", piece of sandpaper and Scotch Brite to clean slate and glass surfaces. You can read more about Mr. Fetters in Earl Mickel's 2nd book "Turkey Callmakers, Past and Present, The Rest of the Best" page 70. Shade Mountain Calls are no longer made. This one is new old stock.
