Great delivery work originating in the Albuquerque area. This is local curbside or dock to dock delivery. One man work with palletized freight.
This is box truck work that requires 26' truck, pallet jack and lift gate for deliveries. You must operate your own truck to apply for this position.
This is initially a 2 week contract. Great potential to extend for very hard working drivers.
Pays $60 per hour with an 8-hour minimum. Lowest daily pay is $480 and can pay as much as $660 if you run for an 11-hour day.
In this position Owner/Operator will be operating as an hourly driver. At the start of each day you will get a load of 8-12 stops of palletized freight for delivery. Mostly residential curbside delivery. Some deliveries will be dock to dock.
In addition to deliveries drivers will need to complete some pick-ups if there is room on the truck and you are in the area of the pickup while running your normal route.
All days start and end at the terminal and you can park your truck at the terminal overnight.
This is not white glove delivery, so there is no requirement to enter houses or do any sort of assembly/install.
Start time is 8 am. Ongoing opportunity and ability to run multiple trucks for high performing drivers.
